Susmita Das and Late Shri Soumendra Prasad Das, from Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India is a talented Odissi dancer, Dental Surgeon, and RMO in the Neurosurgery Department at Manipal Hospital, whose inspiring journey beautifully reflects dedication towards both healthcare and Indian classical arts. Passionately connected with Odissi dance since 2005, she has received nearly 12 years of professional training under renowned Gurus including Guru Smt. Pushpita Mishra, Guru Subhashree Pradhan, and Guru Rashmita Singh. Her exceptional dedication and artistic excellence are reflected in her achievement of completing all four years of Odissi examinations with Distinction and First Grade. Honored with numerous recognitions including Kanya Sishu Samman, Sambad Aayena Samman, and more than 50 prestigious awards, she continues to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of Odissi dance through passion, discipline, and graceful artistic expression.
