Dr. M. Durairaj

Dr. M. Durairaj, a distinguished changemaker from Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu, has dedicated his life to public service and rural empowerment. After 27 years in government service, retiring as Inspector of the Local Fund Audit Department in 2010, he continued his mission as a Special Lecturer at the Regional Institute of Rural Development (RIRD) for nearly 14 years. His training of rural administrators and panchayat leaders has strengthened grassroots governance across Tamil Nadu. Honoured with an Honorary Doctorate and the Global Book of Excellence England Award, Dr. Durairaj exemplifies lifelong dedication to education, good governance, and the development of rural India.
