Dr. Mahendra Kisan Sonawane

Dr. Mahendra Kisan Sonawane is a distinguished academic and Marathi scholar with 30 years of dedicated teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He currently serves as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Marathi at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Arts and Science College, Ainpur, Taluka Raver, District Jalgaon, Maharashtra. Holding M.A., M.Phil., M.Ed., and Ph.D. qualifications, he has made significant contributions to teaching, research, and higher education. His scholarly work includes 60 research papers published at national and international levels, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence and knowledge creation. His achievements have been recognised through several prestigious honours, including the International Ideal Teacher Award, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar State-level Award, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Award, Vidyaratna National Award, and Global Ideal Teacher State-level Award.
