Dr. Munna Lal Devdas

Dr. Munna Lal Devdas from Kopra Nagarpanchayt, Gariaband, Chhattisgarh, is a distinguished President’s National Awardee Teacher, author, poet, lyricist, researcher, cultural preservationist, and social activist with over 43 years of dedicated public service. As a teacher, Headmaster, and educational leader, he has championed innovative, activity-based, and value-oriented education, including the pioneering “Ankon Se Akshar Banana” initiative. He received the National Award to Teachers (2006), presented by Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, President of India, on 5 September 2007, and the Dr. Padumlal Punnalal Bakshi State Teacher Award (2020) from the Government of Chhattisgarh. He has authored 30 books and made outstanding contributions to literature, music, cultural preservation, social welfare, and community development.
