Madhurendra Kumar from Bihar, India is a world-renowned sand artist celebrated for his extraordinary creativity and socially impactful artworks. Rising from humble beginnings in Champaran, he transformed riverbank sand into a canvas of global artistic excellence. Known for creating magnificent sculptures from sand, fruits, vegetables, and leaves, his artworks beautifully portray historical monuments, national leaders, environmental awareness, and global social issues. He has represented India in more than 50 international sand art festivals and won prestigious honours including the Indo-Nepal International Golden Sand Master Award and Bhutan’s Best Sand Sculpture of the Year Award. In 2025, he received the Bharat Gaurav Samman and earned recognition in the London World Record, along with records in the USA, United Nations, and Asian Book of World Records for his remarkable artistic achievements.
