Prof. (Dr) Ajit Singh

Prof. (Dr) Ajit Singh is a distinguished Professor of Economics at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, with 16 years of academic and research experience. Specializing in Agricultural Economics, Macroeconomics, the Indian Economy, and contemporary economic issues, he has made significant contributions to higher education and scholarly research. He holds a Ph.D. from Chaudhary Charan Singh University and has successfully guided Ph.D. scholars while mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students. His academic contributions include 33 research papers in UGC Care-listed, indexed, and peer-reviewed journals, five edited books, one authored book, 11 book chapters, and a research project funded by the UP Government. He has also served in numerous academic and administrative roles and participated extensively as a resource person and expert. Through teaching, research, mentorship, and academic leadership, Dr. Singh continues to contribute meaningfully to India's educational and economic research landscape.
